Welcome to the Pittsburgh Public Schools Self-Service Applicant Login Portal



CREATE AN ACCOUNT (New External Applicants)

If you do not have a Pittsburgh Public Schools Self-Service Account, you must create one by following the steps below. Please do not create more than one account.

1. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "Sign Up" button to create your account. Once your account is created, you must complete your Applicant Profile.
2. On the Employment Opportunities page, click the blue "Apply" button for the "Create/Update Applicant Profile" job opening to complete your Applicant Profile and finalize your account. Your Applicant Profile information will autofill applications when you apply to employment opportunities and can be updated each time you apply to a new job opening.


LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT (Returning External Applicants or Current/Former Pittsburgh Public Schools Employees)

If you do not remember your username or password, please use the "Forgot username" or "Forgot password" links. Pittsburgh Public Schools staff are not able to provide your username or password.

Returning External Applicants

1. Enter your username and password in the "Applicant Login" box below and click the blue "Sign In" button. You may need to scroll down the screen to find the box. No PIN is required.

Current and Former Pittsburgh Public Schools Employees
You will need your employee ID number to log into the Applicant Login Portal in Employee Self-Service. If you have forgotten your employee ID, email support@pghschools.org for assistance.
If you are a former Pittsburgh Public Schools employees and your employee ID number is not recognized by the Self-Service system, you will need to “Create an Account” . Once your account is created follow the “Returning External Applicants” instructions to login.

1. Click the "Already An Employee? Log in" button. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the button on the bottom left-hand side of the "Applicant Login" box.
2. Enter your Employee ID Number in the "Username" field and your unique Employee Self-Service password in the "Password" field. Remember, Employee Self-Service is not part of the Pittsburgh Public Schools Single-Sign On system so it is not the same as your email password. If you have never logged into Employee Self-Service, your temporary password is the last four digits of the Social Security Number.
3. Click the "Log In" button.

If you previously created an account using a PIN number, click the PIN account migration button to set up a new user name and password for your account before logging in.
